Rev. Dr. Stephanie Patton
As a Presbyterian pastor, Christian educator, Spiritual Director, teacher and writer, Stephanie has tried to make the world a gentler place for everyone she meets.
Prior to coming to Oakland Presbyterian Church in 2011, Stephanie was Parish Associate with First Presbyterian Church in Memphis for six years, Pastor of Buntyn Presbyterian Church in Memphis for eight years, Associate Pastor of Evergreen Presbyterian Church in Memphis for five years, and for five years was the Associate Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Brandon, Florida.
After graduating from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 1978 with a BA, Stephanie received a Masters in Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School in 1981. In 1984 Stephanie received a Masters from Presbyterian School of Christian Education, and a Diploma in Spiritual Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary in 2008. Stephanie received her Doctorate in Ministry from San Francisco Theological Seminary in 2014.
Stephanie is married and has two children.
