At Oakland Presbyterian Church we help lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating a loving environment for authentic worship and effective communication while developing genuine community with each other.

• Worship is the heart and faith of our community

• An annual renewal of baptism is held in January

• Advent Wreath liturgy during Advent

• Lenten Cross Liturgy during Lent

• Recognition of the Saints who have died to life everlasting in October

• Worship celebrating the Church Year in November

                            CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AND FORMATION

  Presbyterians value education and we respect that part of our heritage by offering:

• Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am-10:30 for adults

• John Knox Fellowship for men - three times annually

• Presbyterian Women's Bible Study - monthly

• Elder Study

• Church Officer Training - four weeks in the spring

                                                   OUTREACH

• Quarterly Tomlin Care Fund supporting those in need

• Donations to Presbyterian Disaster Relief

• Donations to local aid organizations

• VBS jointly with Cleaves Memorial CME and Faith UMC

• Support for the Gideons

• Participation in Oakland in October

• Denominational Offerings: Peacemaking, Joy Gift, One Great Hour of Sharing

• Host Caris Hospice Memorial Service
